What is a seasonal porta potty rental?
A seasonal porta potty rental is a 28-day rental that runs for a set season, usually May through September or October in Butler, with one delivery, weekly service all season and one pickup. The price is the same monthly rate as any long-term rental; the difference is that we schedule the service day around your league nights, pool hours or weekend campers.
| Seasonal customer | Typical setup | Season cost before tax (standard units) |
|---|---|---|
| Backyard pool, kids in and out all summer | 1 standard at the pool gate | $871 (June–Sept) |
| Sand-volleyball league, 2 courts | 2 standard, serviced the day before league night | $1667 |
| Little League complex, 3 fields | 3 standard + 1 accessible + 1 handwash | $4930 (Apr–Aug) |
| Campground loop, 12 sites | 2 standard + 1 handwash | $2690 |
| Farm stand or u-pick | 1 deluxe (sink) for customers | $1520 |
| Beach or lake house guests | 1 standard near the water | $871 |

Why do pools and leagues rent instead of using the building bathroom?
Because wet kids and muddy players tracking through a house or clubhouse cost more in cleaning than a unit does, and because a league running Wednesday nights after the building closes needs a toilet that does not depend on a key. Butler-area volleyball clubs, swim clubs, Little League boards and farm stands rent from May to September for exactly that reason.
- Pools: place the unit outside the pool fence on the house side; kids use it in swimsuits without entering the house.
- Leagues: we service the day before play so the unit is fresh on league night, and we pump after tournament weekends.
- Youth fields: one accessible unit per field cluster for grandparents, and a handwash station by the concession stand.
- Campgrounds and camps: one unit per 10–12 sites, more on holiday weekends; weekly service Monday after campers leave.
- Farm stands: a deluxe unit with a sink keeps customers from asking to use the farmhouse.
When does the season start and end in Butler?
Most seasonal placements in Butler run from the week after Mother's Day to the week after Labor Day, about 5 cycles; youth baseball starts in mid-April and sand-volleyball and campgrounds run to mid-October. Butler's average last spring frost is May 14 and first fall frost October 8, which is roughly the window when units run without brine.
Source for frost dates: Old Farmer's Almanac, Butler 2 SW station. Year-round placements continue on the winter program.
Questions customers ask about this rental
Can you deliver in May and pick up in September without me calling each month?
Yes. Give us the pickup date at booking and it goes on the schedule; the rental renews every 28 days until then and stops at pickup. You will still get a text before each renewal.
How do you keep a unit from smelling at a pool in August?
Weekly pump and a full deodorizer charge, placement in shade, and a vent stack kept clear. For heavy-use pools or tournament weekends we add a second weekly visit for $45.
Our league plays Wednesday. What day will you service?
Tuesday. We set the route day to the day before your heaviest use. If league night changes, tell us and the route day moves with it.
Do we need a handwash station at a youth field?
If there is a concession stand selling food and no building sink within reach, yes: one station between the stand and the units. Volunteers running the stand need their own handwash setup under the PA food code.
Can the unit stay through the winter for hunting season?
Yes. From November we switch the tank to a brine mix and keep weekly service as long as the access stays plowed. Many camps around Moraine and the Allegheny-Clarion line keep a unit year-round.
