How do the six units compare?

The standard unit is the smallest and cheapest; the deluxe adds a sink; the flushable adds a flush and a sink; the accessible unit trades the urinal for a 62-inch flat floor and grab bars; the restroom trailer adds running water, climate control and a second door but needs hookups; the handwashing station is a sink only, set beside any of them.

Which unit is wrong for which job?

A restroom trailer is wrong for a sloped field with no truck access; a flushable unit is wrong for a January jobsite; a standard unit is wrong for a 150-guest wedding; a deluxe unit is wrong for a 20-worker crew that needs one shared sink; an accessible unit is wrong for a backyard with a 36-inch gate. Matching the unit to the site avoids a return trip.

  • Trailer: needs 30 feet of level, firm ground and truck access; not for soft lawns, slopes or sites with no path for a 15-foot trailer.
  • Flushable: flush water freezes; November–March use needs a heated enclosure.
  • Standard at weddings: works for the parking-lot overflow, not for the guests in formal wear.
  • Deluxe on big crews: one shared handwashing station beside standard units is cheaper and meets OSHA's near-proximity rule for everyone.
  • Accessible in tight yards: needs a 66-inch path; place at the driveway instead.

Comparison questions

What is the cheapest porta potty to rent?

The standard unit, at $278 for a weekend event or $199 per 28 days plus $75 delivery. It covers most jobsites and backyard gatherings. The only cheaper rental is a handwashing station by itself.

What is the nicest porta potty for a wedding?

For under 100 guests, flushable units with sinks. For 100 or more, or any reception after dark, a two-station restroom trailer with lighting and climate control. Most Butler barn weddings use one trailer plus one flushable unit near the bar.

Do all units get the same weekly service?

Yes. On 28-day rentals every unit type is pumped, washed, disinfected, deodorized and restocked once a week. Sink units also get a fresh-water refill. Trailers are pumped and restocked weekly as well.

Can I mix unit types in one order?

Yes, and most events do: for example, two standard units, one accessible unit and one handwashing station. Delivery is one charge for the whole order within 25 miles of Butler.
