How does a month-to-month porta potty rental work?

A long-term porta potty rental bills every 28 days at a flat unit rate that includes weekly service, with delivery and pickup charged once on the first invoice. The rental renews automatically until you call or text for pickup; there is no contract, no term and no proration, so a year is simply 13 cycles at the same rate.

A 28-day cycle is 13 cycles per year, not 12 months, which is why we say 28 days instead of a month. Deluxe, accessible and handwash units follow the same structure at their own rates: pricing guide.

Who rents porta potties long-term in Butler County?

Long-term customers around Butler are home builders between footer and plumbing rough-in, farms and hunting camps, manufacturing plants and warehouses with loading docks far from the building restrooms, campgrounds, sand-volleyball and ball-field leagues from May to September, storage yards, gas-well pads, and homeowners whose septic or well is down for months.

  • Home builds: 6–10 months from footer to final; the unit moves from the lot edge to the garage apron as the site changes.
  • Plants and warehouses: a unit at the dock for drivers and yard crews so they stay out of the building.
  • Farms and camps: seasonal or year-round; winter units are brined.
  • Leagues and parks: May–September placements next to fields; weekly service on league night minus one day.
  • Septic and well outages: month-to-month until repair; cancel the day the plumber finishes.

Rules that apply to long placements

Waste from every pump-out is hauled under our Pennsylvania DEP septage transporter registration to a permitted treatment plant; PA DEP's septage handbook excludes portable-toilet waste from land application. Units on a City of Butler street need an obstruction permit (§232-6); units on private property do not.

What does weekly service include?

Weekly service on a long-term rental includes pumping the tank, pressure-washing the interior, disinfecting the seat, urinal and walls, recharging the tank with deodorizer (brine in winter), restocking two rolls of toilet paper and the hand sanitizer, and checking the door spring, vent and roof. The driver texts the site contact when it is done.

  1. Pump the tank with the vacuum truck; waste goes to a permitted plant.
  2. Wash and disinfect seat, urinal, floor and walls.
  3. Recharge with 5 gallons of water and deodorizer; brine mix November–March.
  4. Restock toilet paper and sanitizer; refill sinks on deluxe units.
  5. Inspect door, latch, vent stack and anchoring; swap the unit if anything is broken.

Need it more often? A second weekly visit is $45. Need it less often? We do not drop below weekly, because a 60-gallon tank at 10 users fills in a week and odor follows. Full details: standard unit page.

Questions customers ask about this rental

Is there a discount for a one-year rental?

No, and no contract either. The rate is $199 per 28 days for 1 cycle or 13, and you can stop any time with 1 business day's notice. For 5 or more units on one account we quote a per-unit discount.

Does it automatically renew, or do I have to call each month?

It renews on its own every 28 days until you call for pickup. You will get a text 2 days before each renewal so there are no surprises.

What if I only need it for 5 weeks?

Five weeks is two cycles, because the second cycle starts on day 29. If you know the end date, tell us; sometimes a short-term rental for the extra week is cheaper and we will quote the lower option.

Can I change the cleaning to every two weeks to save money?

We keep weekly service as the minimum on long-term rentals. A unit with 5 or more users on a two-week schedule overflows and smells, and then nobody is happy. For a single-user unit at a storage yard, ask; we can price a lighter schedule case by case.

Can you move the unit when I move to the next job?

Yes. Call a business day ahead and we move it for the $75 delivery charge; your 28-day cycle continues without a new rental.

How do I stop the rental?

Call or text (724) 233-8539. We pick up within 2 business days and nothing bills after pickup. There is no removal fee.
